The Coast is a family-and-retiree market - seven in ten households are single-family, one in five residents is over 65, and flatting is almost non-existent. Your likely Coast tenant is a family or an established couple, renting a home for the medium-to-long term.
Stats NZ 2023 Census (CC BY 4.0), aggregated across the Hibiscus Coast SA2s (Orewa, Millwater, Red Beach, Manly, Gulf Harbour, Stanmore Bay, Silverdale, Arkles Bay, Army Bay, Hatfields Beach and neighbours). Census counts are randomly rounded to protect confidentiality, so shares are approximate.
Lauren heads our commercial team and calls Stanmore Bay home - you’ll find her playing football on the Stanmore Bay pitch, which has a fair claim to the best view of any football ground in Auckland. That’s the Coast: even the sports fields look out over the water.
Elise leads our people and service team and lives for the Coast’s beaches - the walk-to-the-sand lifestyle that makes tenants fall for this stretch of Auckland the moment they visit.
Georgia manages rentals and lives close to the beach on the Hibiscus Coast. It’s local knowledge you can’t research - she knows these streets because she walks them.
From Orewa’s two-kilometre beach to the Gulf Harbour marina, Shakespear Regional Park at the tip of the Whangaparāoa peninsula, and the new village hearts of Millwater and Silverdale - the Coast is a genuine lifestyle destination. Families come for the beaches, the schools and the space, and they stay. Knowing it first-hand is how we market your rental to the people most likely to take it.
And they’re looked after locally - Georgia, who lives on the Coast, personally manages most of these homes.
