Are you an outgoing and organised individual interested in real estate and property? If so, we have an exciting short-term opportunity for you! Our fast-growing property management company is seeking a motivated and dedicated Lettings Agent to join our team and support our property management operations. This role has the potential to become a longer-term position for the right candidate.

About You: You are outgoing and driven. You are keen to get into the property sector, looking for your first or second role in a business that will help you learn and grow your skill set. You’re a team player, but you like to win! You are also super-organised and good at time management. You love talking to people, both face-to-face and over the phone.


As a Lettings Agent, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the property management team and contribute to the efficiency of our business.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Property Visits: Travel across Auckland to various properties for viewings and inspections.
  • Lettings Process: Managing the lettings process for rental properties; listing, selecting tenants, reference checking, and client liaison.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with property management documentation, client information management, and reporting to the management team.

Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Excellent Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong Communication: Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal. Good communication skills on the phone.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in managing client information and property documentation.
  • Customer Service: A friendly and helpful demeanour when interacting with clients and team members.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and confidence on other software is a bonus.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and market conditions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client needs and offer practical solutions.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
